Meet the New Historical Society Director

Marilyn Beste Klaphake has been working at the Sauk Centre Area History Museum and Research Center
for nearly three years as an assistant and curator.  She has recently been hired as the new director.  She is passionate about history and solving mysteries.

Her hometown was Berkeley, California and for the past 15 years she and her husband have resided in Sauk Centre.

Be sure to stop in and welcome Marilyn to her new position.

The Sauk Centre Historical Society would like to thank and acknowledge the Public Art Grant from the CMAB for $8000 for the window painting project at the Blue Valley Creamery.
“This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.”
